The HP Mini 5102 has been updated on the HP site and is now available with the Intel Atom N470 1.83Ghz CPU. The upgrade will set you back just $25, but unfortunately isn't available with any of HPs 'smart buy' configurations. For those waiting to purchase the Mini 5102, now is your time to strike.

HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition Showcased

Mar 04, 2010 - 3:33 PM - by Dunhamzzz

HP Recently published a press release announcing the release of a Vivienne Tam designed edition of the HP Mini 210.
Vivienne Tam, who who normally designs women's clothes, has put her mark on HP Minis in the past and has just graced the new HP Mini 210 with a unique butterfly design. On the inside, the 210 is just a standard Mini 210 model (no HD version here) with an Intel Atom N450 CPU, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD and all the usual ports / connectivity. Perhaps we'll see a larger catalogue of designs for upcoming Minis.

The Vivienne Tam edition is expected to be available from the 19th March, starting at $599. Check out the official press release.

Engadget has some more pictures.

First of all, Happy New year to all our members, I was away for the last 2 weeks but everything is back on track with the site now!
The upcoming HP Mini 210 has already been sited in the wild, despite having a release date of 7th January.

The HP Mini 210 features the Intel Atom Pinetrail chipset, consisting of an Intel Atom N450 processor and an Intel GMA 3150 as well as all the normal netbook features, including 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows 7 and wireless.

With the HP Mini 210, HP have really gone for design, with a fashionable chiclet keyboard, unibutton trackpad and what we can only assume will be outstanding build quality.

HP-UMPC Chat Servers

Dec 26, 2009 - 9:04 PM - by mikez

I will be taking down the Jabber servers next week.

Evidently, the "HowTo" entry in the Wiki already went to the great bit bucket in the sky.
But if anyone should stumble on mention of the chat servers in the forum threads...
don't be surprised that they do not respond and/or your account on them is in the bit bucket.

Note: This change does not effect this site's operation!
The chat servers where alwasy a totally different site.

Mike - Your Chat Server admin.
