Hi everyone,

recently i've purchased 2140 mini and since then i'am having problems constantly.

At first screen was unstable, i mean in the top left corner there were a few dead pixels but each time in different way after netbook turned on (once like up-side-down faded mountain, once as black line, another day like no failure..).

HP was realy quick and two days after issue registered i've got it back with screen replaced.

Recently i've noticed problems while working on the battery, and that problem didn't exist from the beginning. It's about LAN connection. It keep's dissapearing, no matter if:
* card properies/power saving/allow system to turn off the device in order to save battery -> DISABLED
* card propertis/advanced/energy star -> DISABLED
* card propertis/advanced/while on te battery-connectio searching -> NO POWER SAVING

I've even changed option in MAIN power management from LAPTOP -> ALWAYS ON but nothing helped.

After it's plugged to ac adapter connection shows immediately, aftrer unplugged you can notice that it first switches off before dissapearing.....

HP advised to return it as DOA but i thought it might be software trick and that someone here can help. (when xp was released there was a similar problem: in order to save battery lan cards were turned off instead of wi-fi cards)...

Please give an advice (i have just a few days to sort it out, if not succeded on friday have to register as DOA)
