You might try this driver and report if successful:

    6.10.02TBuild 20080128 r2

Older Toshiba BT stack, versions like 5.10.12, 5.10.14, 5.10.16 worked for me on XP. Some of the earlier Toshiba versions ran 100% percent cpu, so the later versions improved. I have not yet tested the above version, as it is very new.

    Good luck.
Thanks for this info ... 8)

Here's the contents of the Vista bluetooth installer, extracted and put into a zip file. Just run BtwMM and your bluetooth should work just fine. This will get your bluetooth adapter working in XP.

Sorry for not doing this to begin with.

Warder, what's the latest with this?

I just heard Dell announce they were discontinuing all OEM XP and others expected to follow.

    Hi marduk,

All OEM's and retailers will stop selling XP next month. Its nothing to do with the OEM's or the Retailers, its Microsoft ending the supply of XP [well Pro at least].
Almost ALL the OEM's will still be offering the XP downgrade on certain versions of Vista [well untill Microsoft blocks this approach too]
All it will mean is you can't buy a PC with XP Pro installed, you'll still able to find copys of XP by shopping around.

Thank you very much for this great post. Finally got up the nerve to install XP on my Mini Note 2133. I've had the downgrade disks for a couple of years now. Anyway thanks to your post and many others on the forum I am now up and running away.....

I have read this whole stuff and the thing is that I want to say you that I tried to install WinXP on my HP2133, but right after the first reboot I get an error acpi compatibility, and if i press F7 during the installation of bypass acpi not even have to phase separation with an error pumps material or a virus.
