Hi Guys,
I am running XP Pro SP3 on the 1.2ghz model. The sound works around 50% of the tiime. The rest of the time it claims there is no device installed! The other clue that something is wrong is that the volume control in system tray isn't there (only when the sound fails to work), any ideas?
My other query is if there is any way to set the LED not to flash when it sleeps? It keeps me awake (ironically)!
Thanks as always.
I stick blutack over it![]()

You could put your hp few meters away from your bed with led turned away from you, or you could put your hp in a cabinet or drawer. Or you could put your sleepingMy other query is if there is any way to set the LED not to flash when it sleeps? It keeps me awake (ironically)!
hp into some kind of case. (I doubt that without hardware mod you would turn flashing led while sleeping off).
