Itunes closing down HP2133

For the past couple of days, each time I open iTunes, as soon as I click on something, like films, my mininote turns off and restarts. I tried uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling, but still have the same problem. Anyone else experience this? Even though iTunes has always been sluggish on my mininote, it did work!

I have a 4th generation Ipod classic and cannot get my computer to recognize it properly. It shows up in Device Manager as Mass Storage Device, but with a yellow exclamation next to it. It does not show up in My Computer or Itunes. It is charging though. When I right click it in Device Manager and go to properties it says, "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

I've reinstalled Itunes, updated drivers in Device Manager "which says "driver software is up to date".

Don't know what else to try. Any advice appreciated!!!
