Norton: Fast, but low detection rates.
KIS and bitdefender: Best of the best. Ulta good detection but avg speed.
Nod32: Best for the MiniNote.

upgraded from Avast! Professional to Eset Smart Security 4

Both are great products but it seems to me that Eset is a bit less of a burden on system

better use microsoft security essentials., it has very low memory size, very compatible with genuine microsoft operating system, always updating, active scanning.. light-weight but security-wise..
