I just perfomed a clean install of the retail version of windows 7 x86 premium.

Every thing appeared to go okay except I had to reinstall the Broadcom drivers and 3D drive, HP button thing.

My main concern is the Via chipset drivers, they won't install! the biggy is that I have installed an SSD but windows hase set the IDE controller to generic as a result I can't enable write caching on the drive :cry:

Can somebody help? those with a 2133 can you tell what the ide controller is called?

The system worked of course under Vista so I think it is the wrong drivers from MS.
