HP Mini Guide

I installed windows 7 RC1 (build 7057) on the 2133 and it worked fine. Now I tried to install the RTM ( MSDN Original Download) and I failed to complete the installation. The installation runs and completes about 75%, in the step "completing installation" the machine freezes complete. The only chance is to make a hard reboot. It starts up again with an error message (installation not complete) and freeze.

I use the Windows 7 Ultimate, English version, HP2133 Model KX870AT 1,6GHz 2GB RAM 120GB HDD.
Does anybody have windows 7 running on the same machine?

I have just completed the installation of MS Windows 7 , UK retail Home Premium 32bit version, on my HP 2133 KX872AA mini note. Going from the SUSE linux rubbish from Novell.
It went as sweet as a nut once I read the instructions on how to delete the linux partitions!

Wireless LAN works, screen resolution appears correct
Now to do some testing
I'll put Open Office and Avast anti virus on next.
