Heave a HP 2133 Mini and install the Windows 7. The system is working correctly. I found in HP WebSite and install the Video and WebCam drivers, but there are two unknown devices in list and are not getting install.

One is probably the 3D Drive Guard, trying to think of what the other might be...

The other is the Quick Launch Buttons "software". Just download and install the vista softpack from the hp download site.

hey guys I was wondering:

If I upgrade to windows 7 ultimate (legit copy, from MS)

Can the HP2133 run Aero? It works perfectly with the hacks during the beta version so theres no REAL reason it cant work...but will 7 LET me use it?

Default 2 Unknown Devices in the device manager in Windows 7

When you complete the Windows 7 install, you may see in the device manager that there are 2 "Unknown Devices".

There were a few fragmented replies, and posts, but I thought that would provide the the answers in one post.

The 2 Unknown Devices are:-

1) The HP Quick Launch Buttons.

2) The HP 3D Drive Guard.

To get rid of the Unknown devices from the device manager, you will need to download the drivers from the HP web site.

The drivers are for Windows, Vista but don't worry, these are the drivers that you need for Windows 7.
The Drivers can be found on the HP web site at this location.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport...&swEnvOID=2094

Navigate to the web site, and select these drivers.

Under the Drivers heading:-

HP Quick Launch Buttons, The download is 23Mb

Under the Software Security heading:-

HP 3D DriveGuard for Windows Vista, The download is 4.5Mb

It can run Aero .. there is workaround to enable aero ... just update windows 7 on ms site .. and Viola ..

Under W7 HP Mini is working perfect ... it not freezes up, it can work with only 1GB of memory ...
