Default Screen Resolution 1024x768 possible ?(with internal Display)

    Hello
Is there a way to change the resolution to 1024 to 768 ? I don't care if I have to scroll the screen with the mouse.
I tried to select the option "show Grafic Modes not supported" but the option is greyed out. Any hints ?

    Thanks for help.

I havent been able to find nothing in google about that. It's an annoying and a very important bug. I can't play most of the games because they use 1024 x 768 and crashes when they find they can't switch from 1024 x 600. It's something that can make you not to install windows 7 in the mini note, and i think this forum is not taking seriously enough this issue.

    Wow! I did it!!!

After 2 months I made it work.

I'll try to explain but I use win 7 in spanish, so you have to guess the names...

Let's go to the change resolution screen. Then in "advanced mode" you have to go to the S3 display tag, and check the "Expand image preferred". Set it enabled. Then, in the tag named "Adapter", click on "Show all modes". Lots of new modes appear, all working!. Then your games works perfectly. (Tested with the previously non working simcity 4)

I have this same problem (I can't change from 1024x600) so I tried to follow the instructions yer0 explained but I don't seem to have the "S3 Display" tag or tab mentioned. I am running Windows 7 on a brand new HP mini-110. I would like to change to 1024x768... Can anyone possibly help me out here?

DJInformatyk - that link doesn't work... it says the file could not be located. I did locate it manually and I'm not sure it applies to my computer. I'm not too tech savvy so I really don't know. Not sure if this helps but my display adapter is a "Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family"...

    Any updates to this?

I have Win 7 with the driver mentioned above but I cannot activate a viewport of 1024x768. All I get is a "shrunken screen" using 1024x600.

Has anyone except yer0 suceeded in this at all?

I have a HP Mini 110-1100 with an Intel Atom

I've searched everywhere and I still can't achieve a resolution of 1024 x 768 at a minimum. Is there a solution for others in my situation besides myself?
