Hello,
i created a bootable Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 USB stick and tried to install it. But Windows 7 always claims it has no drivers for a CD/DVD-Drive (i donīt have one) and refuses to install. I think it misses the SATA drivers....
I searched through this forum and found a post that recommends deleting all partitions on the harddisk. I did that, but no luck. One more thing: i recently updated my BIOS to the latest version.
Itīs driving me nuts. Can anybody help ?

I have dual booted and installed the last 2 beta versions and both RC versions, 7077 and 7100 by the same method:-
Use a 4Gb USB stick.
Obtain the latest Win7 iso and extract it to a folder with winrar, winzip etc.
Open 'WinSetupFromUSB 0.1.1' (google it).
Format USB stick as NTFS file system using HP Format Tool.
In options box, select add Vista setuo/PE/Recovery iso and browse to the folder with the extracted Win7 files.
Click 'Go'
You have now created a bootable USB stick, (press F9 on bootup) from which you can install Win 7 as normal.
@Martyjuk
Thats exactly what i also did....
Maybe itīs because of my BIOS update ? Trying to flash back....
Have flashed to the latest bios, v1.06
Sorry, forgot to mention to create a new partition first and install Win7 there.
maybe you usb built is faulty or something.
check this out. it works well for me, but i use a usb HDD for better performance.
