wireless issues

i really need some expert advice
i was using win 7 ultimate
every thing is perfect except the fact that the wireless lost some reception power, went all the way down to poor from excellent when i rolled in my bed.
thinking its a driver issue i got the latest broadcom drivers. no glory did not work.
sorry i am getting ahead of myself.in xp my reception is always excellent no mkatter where i am in my house.
so tried using the xp drivers on win7 no luck. i have tried all combinations still no luck.
so ihave gone back to xp .
can anyone help why does xp give so much better reception
i want to use win7 but i will not give up the wireless powere of xp
is none else expeirencing this dilema??

Weird, I already posted a similar problem(HP Mini 2133, 2140 and 1000 Forums Forum Index -> Windows XP Help -> 2140 - Wireless LAN problem).

I my case the preinstalled OS was Vista, and when I downgrade to XP Pro SP2 I started having wireless problem… my post is still open… no solution yet.

I will follow yours too…
