Default wireless on 7

Windows claims wireless is switched off.
I then turned it off and on again still no joy.
Is there a bios setting?
If yes how do I get to it?
Thanks

What did you do to get it before you lost it?
Have you had to hard restart since then?
Have you got the broadcom wireless program or just the 7 networking tools?

This is weird.
The wireless switch glowed orange when on. Out of frustration I flipped the switch to blue and the wireless began working and is still working after a couple restarts.
I don't understand.

I had this problem with XP SP3 but after installing the Broadcom Connection Utility from the HP site and setting all of the BIOS options to default it seemed to be sorted.
Good to hear it's rectified itself though

Which 7 you running? Pre-beta or 7000?

On my 7 installs, both wireless and bluetooth work immediately...

7000,
My wireless when running SUSE showed an orange light when on so I assumed it should be orange in 7.
Mine is actually on when the light is blue in 7 though.
Now everything is working fine, thanks for asking.
