    Default Sleep option greyed out

    I did a clean install on a separate partition (dual boot) of Windows 7. Hibernate is an option, but sleep is greyed out. Any thoughts?

    1.6Ghz, 2GB RAM, Vista Business (on the other partition).

    I love it when I get to answer my own questions.

    At the command line I typed:

    powercfg -a

    which gave me a lot of helpful information on the sleep state support of my computer. Basically not supported with the default video driver. I installed the latest vista video driver from the HP site and voila! I can now sleep....

    get the chipset drivers as mentioned in the XP section, works quite well
