In the end this guide worked a treat and only took a few minutes.

I created a USB install stick using this method and the 7100 RC ISO. This method worked 100% and used nothing but files contained on the Windows 7 ISO (I did create it using the stock install of Vista Basic on the 2133 too).

    Stolen from here:
    http://garyshortblog.wordpress.com/2...e-one-netbook/

    Step 1 – Let’s create a bootable USD Drive!

Clearly, the first thing you need is a USB drive and the one I used was an 8GB Seagate model.
Plug the drive into your PC.
Open a command prompt as administrator.
Get the drive number by typing:
    diskpart
    list disk
On my machine the USB disk was number 1.
    Format the drive by typing:
    select disk 1
    clean
    create partition primary
    select partition 1
    active
    format fs=NTFS
    assign
    exit
Mount the Windows 7 beta iso using Daemon Tools or similar.
    Navigate to the boot directory
    cd E:\boot
Using bootsect, we’ll make the USB drive a bootable NTFS drive, ready for a Windows 7 image (my drive was labeled G):
    bootsect /nt60 G:
We are finished with the command prompt now, so you can close it.
Step 2 – Copy the installation files from the mounted Windows 7 iso to the USB drive.

Step 3 – Install on the Netbook

Better than vista ever was (the shameful truth) and far stabler and faster than any release from Microsoft I've seen. Have been using it as my primary OS on my Samsung Q210 as soon as it was released to RC... and that was ages ago. Looking forward to the official release, but pity that it's so expensive.

It is a perfect information that clears all my doubts and gives a clear idea regarding that. It is really advantageous for me.I would definably take the benefit of it. It is really a very good information. I was looking for such from a long time. It is really fruitful for me.

Hi maybe someone can help me. The hard-drive on my mini 110 bust and just bought another one but need to reinstall windows 7 starter on it. Can someone guide me? Seems that the mini 110 does not accept a USB as a start up device.

Well, I have read this all of the stuff and want to say you that for most users are moving to a new operating system never routine, whether Microsoft, Apple or Linux. The other thing is that I want to say you that installing a new Microsoft operating system you can fill with some apprehension.
