Well - I received a new 2133 today from an online retailer. I attempted to boot it up, but something is wrong. I disabled the splash screen so I could see what was up...it boots and reaches run level 6 (for a few seconds) and tries to crank up Yast2...which doesn't seem to go. After that, suse exits, unmounts and reboots...then the process repeats. Viewing only the splash screen you see the progress bar fill all the way in..then stop for several seconds...followed by the reboot. What might cause this? It's new out of the box and won't boot completely.
Run level 6 = reboot.Originally Posted by jdaniel
You need a run level 5 to enable the GUI. Are you sure it's not run level 5?
