Finally got around to sticking the Broadcom HD card in my HP2133:

Installed Windows as a) stuck a new SSD drive in which had TRIM support and b) knew I would want to test with the Broadcom HD card c) although Karmic was great for me on HP2133, Lucid just felt sluggish with Compiz.

I'm ready to give Lucid another go, if someone else can report they got all the video drivers working just fine, and feel Lucid is 'fast enough' for them.
