    easy compiz - v 8.10 intrepid ibex hp 2133 mini note chrome9 via chrome

    read all steps before proceeding[*]System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager
    • install: compiz-settings-manager
    • after installed you will find it under System > Preferences > CompizConfig Setings Manager
    • compiz will work after the folowing steps
    [*]downlaod and install this driver fom December 2nd, 2008[*]here is a copy of my xorg.config made for 1280x768
    • you will need to modify for your 2133 if you only support 1024x600 !!

    In: xorg.conf

    Why so many "Monitor" sections all having the same identifier name?

    I think it is legal, but I don't see _why_

    Check your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file - I think what X11 will do is merge all the same
    named identifier sections (same as it does for font paths) - not sure, never did it myself.

    Which brings to mind a request - when you publish a modified file of mine,
    please add your name to the "blame list" at the top.

    It is released under the MIT license - so copy/modify/do whatever -
    Just don't credit me in the top line with VIA.
