Any hardware/heat issues?

Read a post on cnet from a school teacher with 7000 units that said the case cracks easily and some have poor wiring which kills the unit.

I still have my 2133 that is fine (but not so often used) and now I have switched to 5101 that I love and have no doubts it will last for years.
