So I just put in this new ram into my HP Mini 2140, everything else in it is as is when bought. I noticed the thing started running slower afterwards...

So I checked CPU-Z

SPD Tab:

Slot #1 DDR2
Module Size: 2048 MBytes
Max Bandwidth: PC2-6400 (400MHz)
Manufacturer: Kingston
Part Number: 9905295-051.A00LF
Serial Number: 9CCCA77A

******************JEDEC #1***JEDEC #2***JEDEC #3
Frequency*****|*|**266MHz**|**333MHz**|**400 MHz**|
CAS# Latency**|*|***4.0****|***5.0****|***6.0*****|
RAS# to CAS#**|*|****4*****|****5*****|****6******|
RAS# Precharge|*|****4*****|****5*****|****6******|
tRAS**********|*|***12*****|***15*****|***18****** |
tRC***********|*|***16*****|***20*****|***24****** |
Command Rate**|*|***N/A***************************|
Voltage*******|*|**1.8 V***|**1.8 V***|**1.8 V****|
Now I don't quite know if this is correct as I am more of a software expert than hardware by far. Also very new to HP Netbooks.
So then I check out the Memory tab.

Type: DDR2 Channels #: Single
Size: 2048 MBytes

Timings:
DRAM Frequency: 265.4MHz
FSB DRAM: 1:2
CAS# Latency (CL): 4.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD): 4 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP): 4 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS): 12 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (tRC): 16 clocks
Command Rate (CR): N/A
DRAM Idle Timer: N/A
Total CAS# (tRDRAM): N/A
Row to Column (tRCD): N/A

On CPU Tab there was also...

Clocks (Core #0)
Core Speed: 798.2MHz (Jumps to 1500MHz Periodically for brief periods)
Multiplier: x 6.0
Bus Speed: 132.7 MHz
Rated FSB: 530.8 MHz

So I need someone who knows a bit more about this specific computer and hardware to clarify whether or not the RAM I put in is working properly. It seems to me like the original 1GB RAM that came with the HP Mini was making the computer run faster than this new 2GB Kingston RAM.

Thank you. ;3

PS: If it says N/A, it's grayed out hehe
