Default Broadcom HD Crystal Card for HP Mini 2140

    Hi,

I 've got a HP Mini 2140 and I want to know, whether I can plug the Broadcom HD Crystal Card into the external expresscard slot on my machine.
    I'm considering buying this: http://cgi.ebay.com/BroadCom-BCM9700...:B:SRCH:US:102
May I have to fold it in sg, to be able to use as an "external" card?
I dont want to dissambley my machine, since I've got an expresscard slot.
    Thanks for your answers

The item you're looking at is a Mini PCIe card. It is plugged in internally, thus requiring the partial disassembly of your machine.

There may be an adapter for the expresscard slot, but I'm not aware of it.

On the 5101, it can be connected where the WWAN card would go (assuming there isn't one already connected).

    Again, partial disassembly/reassembly required.

Any news from the expresscard 43 version of the Broadcom Crystal HD card?
I doubt, that one that I found on the ebay (previous posts) might be an older version, that not contains the BCM70012 chip only the BCM70010.
    I appreciate your help.
