    Default Bluetooth issues

I can send files from my netbook to my smartphones. But my smartphones can't send files to my netbook. This is very frustrating. I can't even send a picture file from my Nokia to HP Mini 210.

Everytime I tried, it keeps saying can't connect. My HP Mini 210 also can't receive files from other laptops via bluetooth. What is the problem? Help!!

Silly me. It turned out that nothing is wrong with my netbook. It just that, I need to type "fsquirt" in Run command to launch the Bluetooth send & receive wizard before the netbook can start receiving files from other devices. It's a security feature by Microsoft. The netbook won't receive any file unless it is put in prepare mode.

That was really helpful, Minifreak, nowhere in the manuals have I read about fsquirt. However despite launching the send and receive wizard I am still unable to recive images from my Nokia smartphone, though I can send them from my netbook. Please can anyone help?

Make sure the bluetooth radio device is turned on. If it is off, enable it from Device Manager. After launching the fsquirt, click "receive files". Only then, send the picture from your phone. You might need to pair the phone with the netbook first too.

What are your network and share settings?
What drivers you have installed for it to work?
