HP Mini Guide

I have a HP mini 210 1032 and can not connect to wireless (DSL) at home. I have gone through the set up to "set up a new net work". Have waited several minutes and nothing appears in the reconfigure box. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

In general you don't "set up a new network" but just connect to an existing network. Which OS do you have? In most cases connecting requires you to click a wireless networks icon in the taskbar and selecting the network you want to connect to and then (if network requires it) entering password that is securing your wifi net.

I have windows XP. Do I need to set up my home computer for a home network or can I get on line through my DSL box only?
