I've been using my Mini for quite some time now, and up 'till now it's been working like a charm.
Unfortunately, I've now noticed that out of my 160GB of space, I have 5GB left, thanks to the folder C:/System Rollback Data.
This folder has taken up 52GB, and I have found no way to get rid of it. Turning of system recovery does nothing, and manually deleting it seems to be impossible.
Any tips on what I can do?

i am currently doing a "disk cleanup" and it seems to be working, i found it on another forum
my laaptop was using 110 gb out of 160gb, so you can figure i was a little desperate
also, it went from 100gb free space to 27gb free space in less than 3 days, so i'm still not convinced my laptop is fully healed...
1. Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs,
clicking Accessories, clicking System Tools, and then clicking Disk Cleanup.
2. In the Disk Cleanup Options dialog box, choose whether you want to clean
up your own files only or all of the files on the computer. If you are
prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or
provide confirmation.
3. If the Disk Cleanup: Drive Selection dialog box appears, select the hard
disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
4. Click the Disk Cleanup tab, and then select the check boxes for the
files you want to delete.
5. When you finish selecting the files you want to delete, click OK, and
then click Delete files to confirm the operation. Disk Cleanup proceeds to
remove all unnecessary files from your computer.
The More Options tab is available when you choose to clean files from all
users on the computer. This tab includes two additional ways to free even
more disk space:
• Programs and Features. Opens Programs and Features in Control Panel, where
you can uninstall programs that you no longer use. The Size column in
Programs and Features shows how much disk space each program uses.
• System Restore and Shadow Copies. Prompts you to delete all but the most
recent restore point on the disk.
Probably You are using Roxio BackOnTrack or similar. If You dont need this functionality just uninstall this application.Folder and data will be deleted. It worked for me.
above poster is correct--roxio back on track seems to have a grave problem not deleting old backup sets even when configured to delete them every two weeks. i just bought a used 110c, a few months old, with a 16gb ssd drive and 4gb was already used by back on track recovery sets that were supposed to be delated every two weeks.
Just got done deleting this nightmare of a folder...
This is how I did it: I installed Ubuntu (my system is on a dualboot Windows 7/Ubuntu), then I navigated to the folder "System Rollback Data" and deleted it, all 50GB+ of it. Problem solved.
You can use Wubi to make an easy dual boot of Windows+Linux.

edit: I use an HP Mini 110 1100 CTO
I just tried to uninstall Roxio BackOnTrack and my machine crashed. Now when I try to boot I get an error message saying that \Boot\BCD is missing.
Anybody got an idea of what this means?
The problem with memory consumption is actually quite straight forward and is due to the ROXIO back on track program, which is distributed with most HP/Compaq mini notbooks. ROXIO is set by default to save your system state every 7 days or so (each saved state taking up between 2-60 GB depending on the usage e.g. programs installed/ updates) and the memory consumption problem becomes noticable in roughly 3-4 months.
DO and DON'Ts
1) DO NOT attempt to uninstall ROXIO back on track- a) it will take forever to uninstall- I tried and waited 24 hours but it was still going.... b) if you became impatient, like me, and tried to restart the computer- your SYSTEM MAY NOT BOOT UP and will require a full factory recovery etc. etc.
2) DO- try a simpler solution: First set ROXIO back on tract to save state every 90 days (if you have a stable system) and automatically delete states older than 89 days. Then use the "free disk space" function to manually delete existing automatically saved states (note it would be worth leaving the HP initial restore point alone, it's only 2Gb anyway). NOTE: this will take a long time but you can check the progress by going into C:\System Rollback Data\Restore\Archive and into one of the folders there (they will the named something like 00000004) and you will begin to see the subfolders (labelled 0, 1, 2, 3....100 etc) disappearing over time and your hard drive free space returning to an acceptable level.
Fortunately Roxio was not installed on my HP mini 110-3100.
