HP Mini 110 Resolution Issues

Alright, So I just got my Mini 110 everything worked like a charm until I installed an updated version of the Intel 995 GMA driver. I downloaded it from: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intel945gm/
Little did I know that this version wasn't optimnized for the HP Mini 110 1024x576 screen resolution. I installed the driver and what to my surprise? 1024x576 resolution is completely gone. Yay?! No, because now I have to move my mouse all around the screen just to be able to see everything. Sort of annoying. I tried downloading the default driver from the HP website but their ftp server seems to be down, so i downloaded a copy from Software Media's website tried installing and... failure doens't seem to want to install. I could really care less if I the HP drver to work or not, what I'd like to do is have my 1024x576 resolution back.

In case anyone gets the same issue I had, here's the fix. Check 'hide unsupported resolutions' in advanced, Then go to the Intel's 'Advanced' options and set resolution to 1024x576 because it still won't be in the reg display options. Even though this fix is known, people lack the ability to explain it.
