For myself, I hate even the thought of going to jail.

its a completely legal version that i own. there are still a lot of bugs to work out though.

* the 1280×768 resolution is seriously distorting the boot screen. need to find a way to make my own boot screen that fits and load it on there.
* login screen works and users were setup, but it doesn’t ask to login. good thing this is a personal laptop and not shared.
* the dock is a little glitchy with the mini note’s hardware. not sure if it’s an issue with the mini itself or if it’s an os/driver thing. too lazy to figure it out.
* dock settings, control panel, etc are all accessible.

definitely have some things to work out on the kernel side, but osx is usable. haven’t installed anything as of yet, so no word on performance, usability, lag, programs, blah blah blah blah blah, but boot time is still pretty slow like xp. somewhere in the 1-3 minute range, haven't timed it yet.

That's a slow boot time for OSX. That can't mean good things for how it will actually perform. How's the hardware support, especially wifi? I've been watching the Wind because it seems to have great support for OSX, except for the need to swap out the wifi card. Since the mini uses a broadcom card, it might actually be supported by OSX.

im not sure why but xp and ubuntu boots up really slow on my machine too, about the same boot time as osx. might be something on my machine.

but when everything's booted up, dock magnifications run smoothly, that osx screensaver flurry runs a little smooth, some basic programs open quickly, etc. what really matters to me is photoshop and coda. coda should do fine. i'm pretty sure photoshop should do well but will hang every now and then. it's fine though, it's an expected thing.

Not unless that thing in the picture was built by Apple, it sure looks like a machine made by HP.
The copy you have may well be legal - the use you are putting it to breaks the terms of the EULA.
Discussing illegal activities is against the rules of this forum.

just posting up a teaser picture for what can be done. that is all. i have no intentions on teaching anyone how to do this nor do i plan to even use osx. simply for bragging rights. next time i want an opinion, i'll ask for it in the initial first post. other than that, just enjoy the freaking eyecandy because that's all it was meant to be.
