I would definitely upgrade to W7. I have never had the freeze problem. I use the high performance power setting and turn off all display, drive, CPU, shutdown options. I also have upgraded to 2 GB of memory and replaced my HDD with a SSD (lighter, cooler, faster, more efficient and quieter). W7 is really optimized to run on a SSD. I have used my 2133 all day long, literally 9 hours straight without a single problem.
Hi all.
I have a mini 2133 that freezes randomly.
It freezes with windows7, XpProSp3, VistaSp1, Ubuntu Netbook Edition.
I solved, on XpSp3, with an utility called notebook hardware control, by setting all the performance profiles on "maximum".
No more freezes at all.
