Could anybody give me some guidance towards updating my BiOS on my HP 2133?
I can create the bootable USB key just fine using the file from the HP website, but nothing happens when I boot up - it just goes straight to the "Staring Windows" screen. I even try selecting the USB Key from the boot menu and it just tells me that the USB is not a bootable drive or something, then goes straight to the "Starting Windows" screen.
Am I doing something wrong?
I am using Windows 7, if that matters.

I'm having the same problem actually, but I can confirm that my USB drive is bootable because I just used it to reinstall Vista a few weeks ago. It's a brand new Corsair.
I seem to be missing something somewhere. Basically, I download the Bios update file from HP, install it and run it. It gives me three choices between burning a cd, making a USB device or a floppy. I choose USB, it does its thing and then finishes successfully.
When i boot with it, the BIOS doesn't recognize it as a bootable device and just boots to windows.
I've tried various versions of the BIOS file, just in case the f.06 version was buggy, and i've tried 2 different USB keys. I've also checked the BIOS, but there doesn't seem to be any way I accidentally disabled booting from other devices -- and just to be sure, i tried it in my main computer which lets you manually select it. That computer allows me to select USB, but then doesn't see anything bootable.
Anyone else having the same problem?
