The battery for the 2140 will also fit your 2133 - they both use the same battery.
So shop for a 6-cell for either model.

2.5hours on a 3 cell may be "normal" - it depends on how you have set the power
management profile and just what it is that you are doing with the machine.

Going by the post title - you have probably set it to be locked at maximum frequency.
That will greatly decrease your battery run time. Just set it so it can be self regulating.
Turn off the Wifi when not using it. . .
Turn down the screen brightness when you can. . .
Don't try to power external USB devices with it. . .
All can increase your battery run time.

Just decide for yourself if you prefer "too slow" or "off" (due to discharged battery).
Generally, "too slow" out performs "off" by a large margin.

the 2133 has a via chipped which is slower than 2140's intel atom chip.

the only way to speed up your 2133 is to use linux

    Not the only way.
FreeDos runs memory resident - it can be fast also.
