my mini 1020 has a sim card slot? but nowhere did i read that it has 3g support? how exactly does that work?

and, i assume to remove the vent mesh i have to pop the keyboard? can't find the 2133 tutorial =(

It can have a sim card slot, but it still needs the mobile broadband card to work.

*edit* I remembered you have a 1000 series, so I'm not sure if this will work for you or not. I'll do some digging and let you know


Getting the mini's apart is bit of a task. They keyboard comes off by popping out the battery, and then screwing three screws along the edge where the battery plugs in. Then grab the top middle and very carefully bend it up so the left edge can clear the tabs holding it in.
