SOLVED HP 2133 Slow Video Performance

Hi All,

I have 2133 and whenever I play anything on youtube the cpu clocks 100% (or nearly) usage. This is consistent in Vista and Linux.

This 2133 has 1.2 GHz Via CPU and 1 GB RAM.

Standalone video playback is not a problem. (Linux is fine, however Vista must be optimized for best performance and unnecessary services disabled).

I have all the standard drivers in the system. Not sure what is the problem with the Youtube situation...

Oh and additional info:
I have tried playing youtube videos in IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera.

Thoughts / suggestions / comments / help is most welcome!

I used the free Cowon JetAudio player on my 2133 and had no problems at all, after trying VLC and others. I still use it on the 5101, it is very light and reliable.

I did find that the 2133 needed restarting occasionally if I had been using some heavy software prior to opening a video file. The 5101 has no such problem, but with JetAudio the 2133 worked smoothly virtually always.
