Well for my 2 cents worth it has arrived and its sitting in front of me at this moment. Of course I mean my HP2140. When hooked up to my Dell 21" flat panel the setting is at 1600 x 1200 full screen! This is of course IMHO.

Related to HP2140 1366 resolution model. Still no official information from HP when it will be in stores. So it starts to look that they will release (and also sell?) next mini before high resolution 2140 model is in stores. Would be nice to know reason behind this. Problems with display panel supplier?

Is there any good alternative higher resolution notebooks? I bored to wait HP

WOW harsh words there. Have you had the opportunity to actually touch, feel, and use the HP2140. I have and have been doing so for over two weeks now with very positive results. I will of course look at the Hi-Rez model when it becomes available (if ever) and decide at that point if my current HP2140 needs to be replaced with the newer model. Until that time this little jewel is staying with me at all times. It is IMHO an amazing netbook - mini notebook - notebook.

Well, 2140 build quality and everything rocks. But I really think that vertical resolution in normal model is so low that i would just get mad soon after buying it. Mad to myself that is. And if I start to think that I will anyway replace it soon with another netbook... then why to buy so expensive netbook as 2140. Ok, netbooks are toys and so prices shouldn't matter

IMHO todays business netbooks are far from toys. The HP2140 that I have does everything for me that my Dell D620 does with a lot less weight and a lot more battery length. Granted there are unique applications that will not work on the netbook but most of those are related to video construction/publishing or heavy duty desk top publishing. I understand your desire for better video quality but my point is you should really take a look at one up front and personal before making that judgment. From what I see sitting in front of me as I construct this reply is great.
