I just wanted to confirm that this problem happens under Linux as well. I've installed Fedora and when the battery is trickle-charging, it seems to take forever. (50%->55% in four hours.)
Although I didn't have this problem when I first purchased the laptop 5 days ago, it seemed to start when I put the laptop into suspend, or when the machine is not fully shut down properly.
It's 10:35 pm here and with the battery power at roughly 2/3, I've just applied the "take the battery out and put it back in" fix. I'll check back in the morning and let you know how it worked out. |
