Default Possible solution?

Hello there.

I'll just get this out of the way right off the bat: I don't have an HP 2133. I do however, have a Pavilion 9000 series, and I had a very similar problem (completely dark panel, no HP BIOS screen, nothing). So this may or may not apply to you; all I know is that this worked for me.

Simply try unplugging and taking the battery out for a couple of minutes. Presumably this allows the RAM to clear any settings that the computer is trying to reload (say, resuming from a corrupted standby or hibernate session). I was about to send my notebook in to HP, but figured I'd give this a try first, and it worked instantly.

Hope that helps...
