im not sure why but xp and ubuntu boots up really slow on my machine too, about the same boot time as osx. might be something on my machine.
but when everything's booted up, dock magnifications run smoothly, that osx screensaver flurry runs a little smooth, some basic programs open quickly, etc. what really matters to me is photoshop and coda. coda should do fine. i'm pretty sure photoshop should do well but will hang every now and then. it's fine though, it's an expected thing. |
